

Practique was co-founded by Jo Walker in 1997 and the company is today the leading specialist vendor of Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) software in Europe, working with clients which include; The Carphone Warehouse, O2, Royal Bank of Scotland, Mazda, British Gas and BT.
Practique remains a privately held organisation and Walker has spearheaded the company’s direction having spotted a niche in the HR and Finance market for an expert incentive software system, which could strategically drive sales and influence behaviours to positively impact a company’s profits. This led to the development of Practique’s flagship software INCA with co-founder and Technical Director Steve Bowe.
Practique’s strong reputation for customer service, its cutting edge, ICM software INCA and its solid delivery record have culminated in the company being a player to watch within the Sales Performance Management arena.
Prior to Practique Jo Walker’s background was firmly rooted in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) where she spent eight years in a number of Executive positions at hi-tech companies, including Onynx where she focused on innovative ways to introduce technology enabled selling.

Steve Bowe
Co-founder & Technical Director
Steve Bowe and business partner Jo Walker set up Practique in 1997. Bowe is the author of INCA, Practique’s flagship Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) software application. This web-based software is now implemented in many competitive fast-paced European industries, such as telecoms, to drive up sales, cut operational costs and deliver a solid return on investment.
In his role as Technical Director at Practique, Bowe is responsible for the continued strategic product development of INCA to keep it at the forefront of the ICM market.
Prior to Practique, Bowe was Technical Director at Onynx, one of the first UK distributors to spearhead the customer relationship management (CRM) model. Bowe was responsible for the design and development of the software application and pioneered a number of turnkey solutions on behalf of blue-chip companies within the FMCG and Financial Services sectors.

David Cross joined Practique in 2007 as the Director of Business Development, bringing with him over 20 years experience exclusively within the Business Intelligence market, spanning the Telecommunications, Financial Services and Retail sectors.
Cross made his name at IBM where he was the Head for the Data Services Business at the IBM Software Group. He is experienced in building a solid sales infrastructure, in particular taking SME organisations to the next stage of development. Cross has a solid track record, underpinned by Alphablox where he was General Manager when the company, a specialist vendor of business intelligence and analytical solutions, was acquired by IBM in 2004.
At Practique, Cross is responsible for the company’s ‘go-to-market’ business strategy and is spearheading the company’s growth within Europe.
